The current Australia team is visiting Pakistan after almost 24 years. On their arrival in Islamabad, the visiting team players must have felt like arriving in Wonderland.

The players of the Australian were taken to the Hotel from the airport surrounded by thousands of security officials. The security was tightened than visiting the head of a state.

Australia’s team's previous tour to Pakistan was in 1998. In these two decades, Australia stayed away from touring Pakistan due to security fears. Australia will be the first team among top teams to come to Pakistan for full series.

Tour of New Zealand

Last year, New Zealand left the tour after visiting Pakistan due to suspected orally threats from unknown sources. However, New Zealand will play 10 white-ball matches in April 2023.
